the brand:
Madison Cotten is a Colorado-based wedding photographer that photographs elegant, traditional, high end weddings. She gets the majority of her leads through planner and vendor referrals and wanted more SEO and AIO optimization for Google and LLM leads. Most importantly, she was looking for a beautiful, minimalist website that matched the elegant tastes of the couples whose weddings she photographs.
The Project:
While the weddings Madison photographs are traditional, her approach is unique – her style is gentler and more documentary than other high-end wedding photographers in her field, and her quiet, kind personality is a great comfort to her overwhelmed, often introverted couples.
In the copywriting, we wanted to impart high-end wedding expertise through a calm, grounded tone, balanced with empathetic, emotional language. We kept the overall copy minimal and easy to read, letting her testimonials sing with single sentences. The design itself carries the viewer cleanly down the page, with heavy negative space and organic image placement.
