Forest Picture Company is a husband and wife elopement photography and videography team based in Fort Collins, Colorado. They have a steady stream of clients from word-of-mouth, but wanted more Google and social media leads, as well as design and copywriting that matched the quality of their photography.

The Project:
In the copywriting, we focused on their clients’ joyful, intimate approach to their elopements, encouraging authenticity and time with their people. We also highlighted that Forest Picture Company is a married photography and videography duo, reducing budget and decision overwhelm with one vendor rather than two. Their brand voice is funny and heartfelt, casual without sacrificing their expertise in the industry.
Since Forest Picture Company does nature elopements and their clients tend to be outdoorsy or nature-lovers themselves, we leaned heavily into an earthy nature vibe for their website design that still felt very clean and balanced. We even sourced a custom font named “John Muir”. You can’t make this up.
Their original site had good bones and they had some copy phrases that we actually kept. In this new version, we focused on symmetry and simplifying the visual experience.
